This Acceptable Use Policy outlines what is appropriate and what is inappropriate when it comes to using We-Connect products and services. This Acceptable Use Policy applies to any individual or entity that interacts with any We-Connect product or services.
The purpose of this Policy is to establish acceptable practices regarding the use of We-Connect resources in order to protect the confidentiality, integrity, security, responsibility, activity, IP rights and security of information created, collected, and maintained.
In the interest of fostering a welcoming environment, we, as company, are committed to making participation in our platform a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

I understand that I must use We-Connect systems in a responsible way, to ensure that there is no risk to my safety or to the safety and security of the systems, devices, and other users. This agreement will also apply to any personal devices that may connect with We-Connect Services.
You will ensure that your use of the service is at all times compliant with this Policy and all applicable local, state, federal and international laws, regulations and conventions, including, without limitation, those related to data privacy or personal data. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, content and legality of your data. You represent and warrant to We-Connect that you have sufficient rights to contract with us and you will not infringe or violate the intellectual property, publicity, privacy or other rights of any third party. You also agree that you will not misuse the service. Misuse includes, but is not limited to:
a) Using the service to disseminate or convey inappropriate, defamatory, obscene, salacious, or unlawful information, images, or materials; or to defame, harass, stalk, threaten, or otherwise violate the legal rights of others.
b) Subscription fraud or unauthorized access.
c) Using content or files that contain text, images, photographs, software or other materials owned by others that are protected by intellectual property laws (e.g., copyright, trademark, rights of privacy or publicity) and for which you have not received all necessary and legal consents for their use.
d) Using any information, images or other materials available through the service in any manner that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or other proprietary right of any party.
e) Violating any code of conduct associated with the service, or any applicable laws or regulations.
f) Taking any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the service infrastructure; or uploading files that contain viruses, trojan horses, worms, or other similar software or programs that cause damage to computers or property of others.
g) Unlawful activity in relation to an individual or association means any action taken by such an individual or association (whether by committing an act or by words, either spoken or written, or by signs or by visible representation or otherwise).
h) Unlawful pornography, which means any sexually graphic image taken during the course of an intimate relationship, video, hidden recordings or images stolen from electronic devices of somebody and share without their consent.
i) Child pornography as any visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct involving a minor.
j) Statements of intent to commit violence, terrorism or attacks.
We-Connect does not control and is not responsible for what users post, transmit or share on LinkedIn, and we are not responsible for any offensive, inappropriate, obscene, unlawful or otherwise objectionable content you may encounter on LinkedIn related to our services. We-Connect is not responsible for the conduct, whether online or offline, of any user of our products or services.
Customer accepts full responsibility for ensuring compliance with LinkedIn's terms and agrees to waive any claims against Provider for any consequences arising from a violation of LinkedIn's terms.
You retain any and all of your rights to any content you submit, post or display on or through the service and you are responsible for protecting those rights. You represent and warrant that: (i) the content is yours (you own it) or you have the right to use it, and (ii) the posting of your content on or through the service does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights or any other rights of any person.
You expressly understand and agree that you are solely responsible for the content and for all activity that occurs under your account, whether done so by you or any third person using your account.
You may not transmit any content that is unlawful, offensive, upsetting, intended to disgust, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable. Examples of such objectionable content include, but are not limited to, the following:
a) Defamatory, discriminatory, or mean-spirited content, including references or commentary about religion, race, sexual orientation, gender, national/ethnic origin, or other targeted groups.
b) Spam, machine – or randomly – generated, constituting unauthorized or unsolicited advertising, chain letters, any other form of unauthorized solicitation, or any form of lottery or gambling.
c) Containing or installing any viruses, worms, malware, trojan horses, or other content that is designed or intended to disrupt, damage, or limit the functioning of any software, hardware or telecommunications equipment or to damage or obtain unauthorized access to any data or other information of a third person.
d) Infringing on any proprietary rights of any party, including patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity or other rights.
e) Impersonating any person or entity including We-Connect and its employees or representatives.
f) False information and features.
We-Connect reserves the right, but not the obligation, to, in its sole discretion, determine whether any content is appropriate and complies with this policy, refuse or remove the content. As We-Connect cannot control all content posted by users and/or third parties using the service, you agree to use the service at your own risk.
You represent, warrant, and agree that you will not use the services in a manner that:
a) Jeopardizes the security of your We-Connect account or anyone else’s (such as allowing someone else to log in to the service as you);
b) Attempts, in any manner, to obtain the password, account, or other security information from any other user;
c) Violates the security of any computer network, or cracks any passwords or security encryption codes;
d) Decompiles, reverse engineers, or otherwise attempts to obtain the source code or underlying ideas or information of or relating to the service.
We do not permit any content that incites violence, terrorism, or we judge offensive, and if so, we reserve the right to remove, ban, block your account and may take any legal action as it sees fit.
A VIOLATION OF THE FOREGOING IS GROUNDS FOR TERMINATION OF YOUR RIGHT TO USE OR ACCESS THE SERVICE.
We-Connect runs on trust, and it’s critical that we protect the privacy of our customers. We take this responsibility seriously, and we won’t tolerate behavior or content that puts the privacy or security of another user at risk.
• Use someone else’s credit cards without their permission;
• Share information about another user without their permission;
• Use private information of We-Connect without our permission.
Don’t participate in or encourage illegal or dangerous activities within or using the services, including gambling, illegal, phishing, human trafficking, prostitution, doxing, swatting, or sharing content that glorifies or incites violence.

Respect other people. Don’t use our products or service in a way that is predatory, threatening, intimidating, lewd, demeaning, derogatory, invasive of privacy, or abusive is against the rules.
We-Connect respects diversity in race, ethnicity, color, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, national origin, and other groups. Content should not demean, marginalize, use hateful language against, or belittle other users or groups.
We-Connect aims to prevent potential online and offline harm that may be related to terrorism and violence. We prohibit content or conduct that supports, glorifies or promotes any terrorist or extremist organization and its actions, including:
• Statements of intent to commit violence;
• Statements advocating violence;
• Aspirational or conditional statements to commit violence;
• Content about other target(s) apart from private individuals, minor public figures, high-risk persons or high-risk groups;
• Calls for action of violence;
• Depictions of or support for terrorist or extremist attacks or terrorist actors;
• Depictions of or support for the leaders of terrorist organizations;
• Depictions of the slogans, images, flags, or icons of terrorist organizations;
• Fundraising for terrorist or extremist organizations, people, or groups.
If you violate this Acceptable Use Privacy, we may stop providing services to you or we may close your We-Connect account. We may also block delivery of a communication to or from the services in an effort to enforce these terms.
Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported by contacting us at[email protected] All complaints will be reviewed and investigated and will result in a response that is deemed necessary and appropriate to the circumstances. We are obligated to maintain confidentiality with regard to the reporter of an incident.
Data security is our top priority. We take myriad security measures to ensure that our customer’s data is secure and safe. We have also implemented security measures to prevent fraud and flag abuse of our software.
Continuous improvements are carried out by conducting security architecture reviews. We contract external security consultants who perform manual penetration tests of new features before each release. These tests are always conducted in a separate environment with no actual customer data present.
You are responsible for keeping the password that you use to access the services secure and you agree not to provide your password to any third party. You are responsible for all activity using your account, whether authorized by you. Accordingly, you should notify We-Connect immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You acknowledge that if you wish to protect your data when you are transmitting it to We-Connect. It is your responsibility to use a secure connection to do so.
We-Connect doesn’t allow spam, scams, or other deceptive practices that take advantage of the We-Connect Services.

We-Connect prohibits content designed to deceive others or duplicate and disruptive sharing anywhere. This includes:
• Phishing (it has been designed to impersonate a real person or organization);
• Vishing (is similar to phishing, except it happens over the phone);
• Baiting (similar to phishing, involves offering something enticing in exchange for your login information or private data);
• Quid pro quo (involves a hacker requesting critical data or login credentials in exchange for a service);
• Clickbait-type advertisements;
• Repetitive, large-volume messaging;
• Creating experiences solely to direct users off We-Connect.
Cheating and Exploits in this Acceptable Use Policy mean any trickery or subversion of the rules or mechanics of We-Connect system to gain an unfair advantage over other users, generally with the use of third party software.
We don’t permit users to deploy or discuss any methods of cheating, including:
• Using exploits to gain an unfair advantage anywhere on the system;
• Sharing exploits with others or encouraging others to cheat the system.
As between you and We-Connect, We-Connect owns or licenses all data, content, graphics, forms, artwork, images, photographs, functional components, and any software concepts and documentation and other material on, in, or made available through the products, as well as the selection, coordination, arrangement, organization, and enhancement of the product materials.
As between any user and We-Connect, all names, trademarks, service marks, certification marks, symbols, slogans, or logos (“Trademarks”) appearing on the products are proprietary to We-Connect or its affiliates, licensors, or suppliers. Use or misuse of these trademarks is expressly prohibited and may violate federal and state trademark law. Unless expressly written otherwise by We-Connect, you do not have any rights of any kind in or to the product other than the right to use the product in accordance with this Acceptable Use Policy.
